THE TWITTER PHENOMENON

Launched in July 2006, Twitter has become a global social networking phenomenon.  The 140-character restriction has not limited its growth, which has been exponential from 400,000 tweets per quarter in 2007 to 50 million a day three years later.
     Sources say that Twitter expects to have a billion users by the end of 2013, and that is worldwide profits will exceed a billion dollars.

Android KitKat 4.4   Google's Sundar Pichai, head of both Android and Chrome, has confirmed that the next version of Android will be called KitKat.
